The Mission of Centro Cultural Hispano de San Marcos

The Mission of Centro Cultural Hispano de San Marcos (CCHSM) is to serve as a community beacon for the preservation, development, promotion and celebration of the Hispanic arts, culture, heritage and values.

The Centro's programs and educational curriculum include the areas of visual art, theater, dance, literature, music, multi-media and the culinary arts. These vibrant educational classes and interactive events for children, adults, families and diverse audiences take place throughout the year.

The museum is open to the
public on Saturdays
10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and by appointment. Call to schedule
your visit or tour.
Closed on January 16th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Ballet Folklorico Classes

Instructor: Arlene Velez
Beginners class on Wednesdays 5:00 to 6:30 PM. This class is for children in Elementary grades who have little or no training in ballet folklorico.  Minimum to start class is six students, limit is twelve students.
Secondary class on Mondays 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
This class is for children in Elementary grades who have completed our Beginners class or who have received ballet folklorico training somewhere else.

Danza Mexica Chichimeca
