Meet our Piano Instructor
Camilo Arteaga - Originally from Colombia, Camilo is a multifaceted musician, dedicated educator, and compassionate music therapist
in training, driven by the profound belief that music is for everyone. Primarily a pianist, he also skillfully plays bass and guitar, seamlessly blending expertise in classical, jass, and Latin American genres. As a performer, he is the piano player for Los Gatos 512, captivating
audiences with them at major events like SXSW and famously winning "Best Latin Music Band' in San Marcos for two consecutive years.
Since 2021, he has inspired learners of all ages as Centro's piano instructor.

Our Piano program teaches fundamental music skills and concepts, including reading sheet music and playing scales and chords as well as proper piano technique, such as posture, fingering and touch and how to practice effectively.
Beyond musical abilities, piano lessons can improve memory, concentration, creativity, and discipline offering broader cognitive and life benefits.
